An entire cottage industry has arisen that does nothing but track Google’s movements, and I am as guilty of this obsessive Google watching as everyone else. But is reacting to Google’s every move the path to success? I am reminded of hockey great Wayne Gretsky, who always explained his uncanny ability as “skating to where the puck is going to be.” What if we could trot out our cloudy crystal balls and pretend to divine the future?
