Monique de Maio founded onDemandCMO in 1998 based on the philosophy that all businesses—from SMB to enterprise—should have access to great marketing talent and ideas—when they need it, for as long as they need it, no more, no less.
Monique has an interest in working with B2B companies—specifically technology, telecomm, professional services, eCommerce and not for profits—that want to take their organizations’ growth to the next level, but are unsure of what strategies and tactics to employ to get there. She and her team are great at developing a combination of clever marketing, sales enablement and thought leadership in multiple channels to get the job done.
After 25+ years on the client and agency sides of the marketing business, she has developed the reputation for being a straight-shooter, an energetic kick starter of all things positioning and messaging and a go to resource for clients including Avaya, Intel, McAfee, NaviSite, United Way and many in between.
Former Publisher of Brandweek magazine, Director of Marketing and Programs for the Promotion Marketing Association and marketing executive at Salomon Brothers and IBM, Monique has an M.B.A.-Marketing from Fordham University and a B.B.A. in International Management from Pace University. She is Co-professor of Social Media Marketing for Farleigh Dickinson University’s on-line Graduate MBA program (with Biznology’s own Mike Moran) and Co-Chapter Chair of MENG-NJ (www.mengonline.com). Born in Paris, France, Monique is fluent in both French and Spanish.
A passionate advocate for fitness, holistic wellness and nutrition, Monique is a first degree karate/mixed martial arts Black Belt.
