I’ve long tried to advise small businesses to find a specialty when they are prospecting for customers on the Web. They might have succeeded for years as the local business that did everything for their customers, but on the Internet they suddenly look the same as everyone else. There are some interesting changes in the Google maps arena and we are coming up sometimes for local real estate searches but do you know how to improve it?

Ha, NO WAY and well they do after i show them to!
I find clients all the time that either cannot grasp that 70% or more of their new (next) customers are searching online for a service.
The best thing about your blog is that you have a unique spin on things.

Yeah, really interesting post. I think it is important for companies to be targeting their local market online. Why compete for the larger share when your local market place could be wide open.
