Write a Compelling Marketing Headline

More and more, marketers must write stories much the way a newspaper reporter does–it’s about compelling content, not advertising copy. One of the most important skills a marketer needs is to create a headline that makes people click through to the entire story, whether that headline is on a paid search ad, a link to a Web page, an e-mail subject line, or somewhere else. Compelling headlines invite readers to read more and are the first step to a customer relationship. Well said, the headline is “the” most imprtant element in an offer/article. 78% read the ehadline only – so if that doesn’t grab them and pique their interest in the rest of the offer, then it’s lost, no matter how good the remaining content is.

The headline is probably the most important part of an article it draws people in, but it should not mislead!

A user decides after reading the headline whether the article is worth reading or not.

Yes headline matters. Most of the readers dont get time to get depth in to subject. Only if the headline attracts them they read on the message
